Dear all, having been closely watching the seasons progress online, it's great to see that the 1's unbeaten run still stands, with a remarkable victory against the High School to note.  Also glad to see the 2's have overcome their sticky patch with style against Rainey.  Let's keep the foot on the gas as we move into the new year and keep complacency to a minimum. We now know we can beat anyone in the league, all we have to do is go out week after week and perform.
To everyone involved in the Boxing day clash, enjoy, but take it easy on the exiles.
Finally to everyone at Academy RFC, have a merry Christmas and a thumping start to the new year.

Three generations of the Coopers were involvled in Academy RFC Club rugby on Saturday. Grandffather Bob was one of the match day sponsors, son Mark was touch judge for 1st XV, grandson Chris played full back for 1st XV and grandson Clarke (not in photo) played No 8 for the 2nd XV.

For the first time in several seasons all three Dobbin brothers played for Academy 1st XV Keith, Kyle (1st XV Captain) and Graeme in the victory over Londonderry YMCA.

Academy 1st XV travelled to Omagh on Saturday and picked up the spoils. Match Report.

Academy 2nd XV continued were they finished last week and scored over 60 points against Donaghadee 2nd XV. Match Report

Academy 3rd XV lost to a strong Randalstown 2nd XV.
