A bumper day of rugby kicked off the 2022-23 season for our Senior Teams.

At a sun drenched Glynn the 1st XV squad beat Larne 1st XV squad 24-5. Whilst in the 2nd XV squad game the hosts came out on top 34-7.

Simultaneously, an under 25s select XV travelled to UUJ for the 7s. Reports of some champagne rugby are yet to be verified but the team went out in the Semi-Final stage to eventual winners Holywood. Some excellent coverage over on The Front Row Union site.

Gurts men now make the short trip to Greenisland this Saturday to take on BHSFP in our last pre-season game. Kick off is 2.30pm and all support is welcome.

Don’t forget…… Saturday 27th we open our league season with a home game against Ballymoney. As ever we will have a pre-match lunch at the clubhouse beforehand. Anyone wishing to attend should contact Andrew Magee (andycmagee@hotmail.com).
