Academy Rugby Football Club

The 1st XV went back to the top of Championship 2 with a hard fought win against Virginia.

In a game dominated by defence Mike Wilson slotted 4 penalty’s before the hosts scored a try to take the lead.

With 10 minutes to go Kurtis Scott broke through to score the winning try much to the delight of the large travelling support.

Our visit to Deerpark was our first competitive league game against Virginia. After the game President George Saunders presented a club plaque to VRFC.

Big thanks to the hosts for their fantastic hospitality. We look forward to returning the favour this week.
