The 1st XV slipped off the top of Championship 2 after they went down 27-11 to Portadown at Chambers Park. The result leaves them 3 points back from Randalstown and Portadown. Next up they head to The Glynn to take on Larne.
A youthful 3rd XV advanced to the next round of the McCambley Cup after a 12 try win against Strabane 2nds. The visitors got the better of the early exchanges with the first try of the game. The home side sparked to life and with a numerical advantage played some fantastic rugby to run out comprehensive winners.
